2024 Chuncheon International Mime Festival Guidance
<General Guidance>▶Smoking is prohibited at the festival.
: There will be a designated smoking area at ‘City of Fire; Dokkaebi Nanjang' So, please use these designated areas.
▶At all performances except the theatre performances you are allowed to bring your own food and drink. Guests who cause disturbance to other attendees due to excessive drinking may be asked to leave by event staff.
▶There is no locker available at the festival site. Please be careful about all your belongings. The festival is not responsible for your loss of belongings due to personal negligence.
▶Admissions
- Free admission : ‘City of Water; Ah! Surajang’, ‘City of Spring’, ‘Festival Theater MIME Outdoor Performance’.
- Ticket purchase needed: ‘City of Fire; Dokkaebi Nanjang’, ‘Daylight Dokkaebi Nanjang’, ‘Theater Performances’
▶In case of rain
: Even in rain (excluding natural disasters), the festival will continue. However, some performances may be subject to change or cancellation. Any changes to the program will be notified on the festival website.
▶Photo/ Video
: For all performances, except for the theatre performances, personal photo and video recording is allowed, except for with DSLRs. However, uploading for the purpose of generating revenue using photos and videos is prohibited.
: Please refrain from actions that may interfere with performers and other members of the audience, such as using flash, and filming that interferes with the performance may be stopped (You will have to delete it and leave) by the host.
: Except for official filming organised by the festival, drone filming is prohibited, and we are not responsible for damage in any case of problems.
: This festival proceeds with on-site photo and video shooting during all programs. Portraits, voices, actions, etc. of the audience may be filmed, and the results may be used for publicity and reporting purposes. If you do not wish to be exposed, please contact the festival (Inquiry at +82 033-242-0585).
▶Pets
: Except for at the theatrical performances, you are allowed to bring your pets to our outdoor programs. However, you are prohibited from bringing them to ‘City of Fire; Dokkaebi Nanjang’ due to risk factors such as the use of fire. (Excluding service animals for people with disabilities)
▶Are strollers and wheelchairs allowed?
: Wheelchairs and strollers for children are permitted. However, for safety reasons, wheeled vehicles such as bicycles, roller skates, electric scooters, etc. are not allowed to enter, and it is a rule to move on foot in all festival venues of the CIMF.
▶Can I use mats, camping chairs, etc.?
: It is possible in an area that does not interfere with the performance. However, for safe and pleasant viewing for yourself and other spectators, tents (including shade) are prohibited.
- ‘Kaleidoscope’ by Kaleidoscope is rated for ages 10 and up.
- ‘The voyage’ by Marin boy is rated for ages 6 and up.
▶Prohibited Items
: Any food, including water.
: Items that can cause noise during performances, such as plastic bags (any bags that can cause noise is included), gift box of beverages, flower bouquets, etc.
: Please keep it at the ticket box if you bring it due to unavoidable circumstances.

: Filming of all theater performances, including mobile phone cameras and DSRL, is prohibited.
▶Watching the performance
: You can leave during the performance, but you cannot re-enter.
: Please turn off all electronic devices before the performance.
: Performances are purchased in advance, and it is difficult to purchase on-site if the ticket box is closed in advance. Tickets can only be purchased in case of other patron’s cancellation.

: Theater performances are conducted through advance booking, and it may be difficult to purchase tickets on-site if they are sold out in advance.
: Tickets for ‘City of Fire; Dokkaebi Nanjang’ can be purchased on-site.
: If you are wearing the wristbands, you can enter and exit freely. Be sure to show your wristband to our staff.
: Please cancel your reservation and then purchase them again.
: Festival wristbands are made of a special material that is not easily damaged or broken unless deliberate force is applied. Please note that it will not be reissued if it is damaged or lost due to your negligence.
: If you have a defective product, you can exchange it before entering the festival.
