Since 1998, the Chuncheon Internatioanl Mime Festival's killer content. The festival's expertise, pioneered in reclaimed barren spaces without utility, has evolved into the unique identity of the "City of Fire," progressing into the nation's only production-oriented festival.

 

With dazzling fire performances and citizens igniting fires together, Numerous performances and artists' physicality programs unfold throughout the festival grounds! Even the festival space is co-created with citizens!

 

Interpretations of urbanity and space, freeform design, aesthetic architecture, construction, and execution— The City of Fire; Dokkaebi Nanjang is the one and only Festival that can be seen only here.

FIREWORK Bonfire Party: Unrestrained
Setting aside the hardened life that disrupts purity and curiosity, and dancing until the body burns out!
 
Slow Village
A time to empty the mind and replenish energy through movement!
 
Fire Factory
A workshop where various fires that illuminate the chaos are created. Citizen participation in fire installation art.

Chuncheon Cultivation
Cultivating Chuncheon as a festival. Cultural resources of the local area such as Geunhwa-dong 396, Chuncheon Cultural Foundation, Chuncheon Puppet Festival, LEGOLAND Korea etc., creating a festival space with citizens.
